1977 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM - RESTOMOD

This amazing transformation is a 1977 Trans Am the client owned since 1978. The car sat for years and rusted almost to the point of no return.  We brought it back to life keeping the essence of the original "bandit" car but with some tasteful and modern safety, power and convenience features.

  • Pro-Flo 4 Multiport Fuel Injection and custom Shaker air scoop
  • 4-Speed Manual Transmission
  • Rewired with American Autowire harness
  • Dakota Digital Gauges
  • TMI Seats and Interior
  • Wilwood Disc Brakes front and rear
  • RideTech Coil Over Suspension with 4-link rear
  • Rebuild original BOP differential with 3.31 limited slip
  • Almost all new body panels
  • Major rust repair
  • Raptor Liner Undercoating and Lizard Skin interior sound deadener
  • Full bodywork and two-stage paint using original Brentwood Brown color
  • Trans Am decal kit from Phoenix Graphics

Piaggio Ape

Down to the final details on one of my favorite builds to date. La Piccolina’s Corks and Kegs commissioned Pro-Speed Autoworks to transform their dream to a reality. We started with their rendering, that I turned into scale drawings. Once approval of the drawings were made, accurate estimates of materials was a snap! Then it was on to the fun part. Cut off what we don’t want and fabricate what we do!!!

The Piaggio Ape (Italian: [ˈpjaddʒo ˈaːpe]; Italian for 'bee'),[1][2] is a three-wheeled light commercial vehicle, manufactured and marketed by Piaggio as an adaption of the company's Vespa scooter — in continuous production since its 1948 introduction and offered in numerous body configurations to serve a wide range of utilitarian functions.

The couple who owns this little “bee” have been fantastic to work with. Please follow La Piccolina on Facebook and Instagram to see it put to work. If you like what you see and if you don’t already follow the talented team at Pro-Speed Autoworks, I suggest you do. We have some exciting builds that are coming to an end and some other that are just getting started!!!
